"You need a website" - but which kind? One page selling one service, or a site with home, about, services, gallery, blog, contact, and FAQ?

What is a landing page
One page, one goal. User scrolls through sections and takes one action. No 8-link menu. Everything focused on one conversion.
What is a full website
Multiple pages, multiple goals. Needed when you have multiple services, audiences, or need organic traffic through content.
When a landing page is enough
- One service or product
- You're running paid ads
- Testing a business idea
- You need speed (7-10 days vs 3-5 weeks)

When you need a full site
- Multiple services requiring explanation
- SEO is a priority
- Building trust through content (B2B)
- Planning long-term growth
Common mistake
Client pays for 8 pages. Pages are empty - "Coming soon" or two sentences copied from competitors.
Better one excellent page than eight half-done ones.
How I decide with clients
- How many services/products? One → landing. More → site.
- Where does traffic come from? Ads → landing. Organic → site + content.
- What should the user do? One action → landing. Research then contact → site.
Conclusion
Don't look at what competitors have. Look at what your business needs to achieve. One converting page beats ten confusing ones.
